Are the Govt being hypocritical over their objections to the execution of a convicted drug dealer?

The right-on commentators in the media and Parliament complaining about this are usually the first to say that Western values are no better than those in other parts of the world and that we should celebrate diversity and multiculturalism. Diversity means allowing countries to regulate their societies by their own rules, Do u think Gordon Brown and the rest of the liberal do gooders should shut up and practise what they preach?
