Could it be that kind of spotting?

I had bleeding kind of like you are talking about, about a week before my period was due. Maybe more like a week and a half before. It wasn't for 2 days though. If you can't get an early detection test as you suggested, then I would wait. Plus, so many early pregnancies actually end in miscarriage. My husband and I were trying but I still didn't take a test until I was 5 days late just in case. Of course, it was also our first time trying and it happened. Good luck! I did pee a LOT starting out, but I didn't really have any symptoms until around 5 or so weeks. So, I wouldn't necessarily go by symptoms. Some people do experience them right off. I did have sore , but that is normal for me before I start. Good luck :)
